Varun Dhawan Got Injured During Stunt Sequence for Jee Karda


Getting hurt during shooting of movie is becoming common these days, though all kind of safety measures are taken during fighting and stunt scenes still injuries do happens.
We heard ,Varun Dhawan got injured during the shooting of movie Badlapur directed by Shriram Raghavan ,while shooting a stunt sequence for the song Jee Karda .According to reports while shooting for a particular sequence Varun Dhawan had to break 24 bottles on his body and Varun had to perform the stunt himself. During the sequence he hurt himself. The crew suggested that Varun Dhawan to take some rest due to the injury as Varun was going through pain. But he refused to take the rest and decided to carry on shooting .
“Jee Karda is a track which keeps up the flavour of the film. It required Varun to behave in a brutal and vengeful way. Varun was severely hurt during the shooting of this song, but he kept going”, said a source close to the Production team
Well, all we can say is All’s well that ends well.
Badlapur is all set to release on the 20th February 2015.

First Look of Shah Rukh Khan starrer graphic novel ‘Atharva – The Origin’


Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan will soon be seen in a as a mythical hero in an upcoming graphic novel ‘Atharva – The Origin’, starring as the novel’s titular character. The project is a debut undertaking by Chennai based Virzu Studios. The project isHeaded by Vel Mohan and produced by Mr Vincent Adaikalaraj.The novel is authored by Mr Ramesh Thamilmani with illustrations by Mr Ramesh Archarya. A teaser for the project was released on Youtube in the first week of the new year to a very favorable public response.
‘Atharva – The Origin’, a graphic novel, is the story of a young king who sets out to uncover his destiny. Set on a vast mythical island landmass in a forgotten past, the storyscape is populated by fantastical birds, beasts and monsters, inventions of the collaborative efforts of the author and artist. It attempts to bring into the Indian literary canon, a blend of writing augmented by rich visual representations. Chronicling the journey of the titular Atharva, the text will be accompanied by full page illustrations in 3D, supporting several key moments in the storyline and attempting to bring alive it’s mythical setting in entire breadth and scope. By ushering in a contemporary and hitherto unique aesthetic in the graphic novel media space, Virzu Studios hopes to challenge the reader’s understanding of what a graphic novel should be. The print version of the novel will be made available in various formats to suit individual preferences.
Mr. Ramesh Thamilmani says “We approached Shah Rukh Khan a year ago with our illustrations and a basic story sketch. After his assent to our work and enthusiasm to take it forward, Virzu Studios put together a team to work on the project and we are now nearing completion”

Actress Jacqueline Fernandez is ready to surprise the audience



Actress Jacqueline Fernandez is ready to surprise the audience. She says her upcoming movies Roy and Brothers will show her in a different light than her past films.

Brothers, directed by Karan Malhotra, is an official remake of the 2011 Hollywood film Warrior.

"After Roy, my next release will be Brothers and that will be very exciting as well because Brothers actually sees me in a very different avatar," Jacqueline said.

"If you thought that Roy was very different for me, Brothers is something that no one would have expected me to have done. So, I'm excited to see the response of the audience," she added.
Produced by Karan Johar, Brothers also stars Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra and Jackie Shroff in key roles. It is slated to hit the screens on July 31.
